Description

Car number 09271 was a class 12b gondola built in 1898, 1923 with the addition of a locomotive plow on the A end, the car was converted into what is known as the Gunnison Plow. Over the years this car had many re-builds and modifications to keep it serviceable. We have two versions of the car available, the as-built version, and the rebuilt version which is an accumulation of most of the modifications the car received over the years. This car was boxcar red with white lettering. To complete the model,  paint, and decal to your liking.

This is the as-built model of the car.

This model was designed to use the following for completion:

•  Kadee #713 or #714 couplers
• 3’7″ Arch Bar Trucks (Blackstone or equivalent)
• 4 – 18″ Grab Irons
• 2 – 18″ Drop Grab Irons
• 4 – 24″ Grab Irons
• 2 Stirrups
• Brake Wheel Shaft

Due to the fact that 3d printing is a relatively new and in many ways experimental manufacturing technology and the fact that many of the models I manufacture push the limits on what is able to be manufactured, not all models can be successfully printed every time. Every effort is made to avoid any issues during the design phase, however, from time to time we do have unforeseen issues during the manufacturing process.
